As of today, Sangathan has promoted 56 (Fifty Six) Self Help Groups who have been registered under (DRDA) East Sikkim.
Till now Sangathan has promoted 33 (Thirty three) Farmers
club within East Sikkim with the motto of ONE VILLAGE ONE PRODUCT.
As Government of Sikkim has declared Sikkim as a Organic State, with this view Sangathan is providing New Technical Farming to develop organic farming.
Besides agricultural activities Sangathan is also actively organizing various social activities.
Gram Vikash Sangathan is a Non Governmental Social Organization established in the year 12th December 2000. The Registered Number is 1627/I/07 under Law Department ,Government of Sikkim.Central Office of the Sangathan is located at Cheuribotey Busty, East Sikkim. The present area of Operation of this sangathan is East Sikkim, which shall be extended to all the four districts of Sikkim in near future...
Sangathan shall work for the upliftment for the Below Poverty Level (BPL) and needy people. In case of emergency like natural calamity sangathan shall ever ready for their assistance within Sikkim
Sangathan shall provide awareness camps related to Health, green mission, National Integration and also promote socio-economic and religious activities.
